Ever flipped a coin and the coin landed on its edge and stayed in that position instead of landing flat? Well, this is something like that. The 2-liter bottle is balancing picariously on the railing without the aid of a shim to level out the bevel on the railing. It has something to do with the contours molded onto the bottom of the plastic bottle that keeps it from falling off the deep end. If instead the bottle's bottom was flat, wouldn't work. Also, there was barely any wind outside, thus even nature contributed to a successful photo shoot.

How many you fit in the saddle bags?
Nate- I would guess about 5-6 two-liter bottles in each side.
