What a dreary lot.
Hattie- it's definitely a none of the above situation. No president has ever been re-elected with the economical numbers that we have and yet the repubs have blotched the advantage.wheatgerm- well, better the repubs do on to themselves than it is to be president-elect and do on to their ma fellow americans.
Those guys really bug me.
Kay- was "bug me' a wordplay on 'humbug', lol. The obstructionists are now obstructing themselves.
Sorry, to be off topic. However were you aware that "okihwn" passed away ? read it in Our adventures in jpn. She was a blogging friend of his. Dont know the details, but thought you might want to know in case you didnt already.
Anonymous- no, I wasn't aware at all. Nate was about the best in the type of work he did. Head honcho on federal construction projects. He was even offered the same position but with better perks in some region in Belgium or Holland.
Yes, I recall him writing about whether to accept the position in Europe. His blogger friend said she found out about it on his face book page. I thought you might want to know. You must of thought it odd that he wasnt posting.
anonymous- mahalo for letting me know. I'm sure that Nate was at or pass federal retirement age but enjoyed his job which was a nice benefit.
You are welcome, I thought you should know. I believe he was 65.Somehow I was always concerned about his health bc of his diet.No idea what caused his sudden death.Life is never something you can take for granted.
anonymous- I've known a few bloggers who have passed away since I started reading blogs from 2000 when blogs were primarily text. I suppose in the same time period, non-bloggers have exited our world, as well."Somehow I was always concerned about his [Nate] health bc of his diet."You mean always eating out just about every day of the year and all that, wasn't fat though, he mentioned he was trim, but if indeed Nate had a known health issue, he's not the type that would have publisized it on the Internet.
