Lighting in the Sky and Thunder in the Hills

These were taken at 10pm, when normally the sky would have been pitch black. The lighting or their flashes went on non-stop, occasionally every second.

Very cool shots. We have been having some strange weather, haven't we.

Hattie- the most unusual thing but in a good way, was that it remained dry in Waikiki overall. I actually was in Kapiolani Park enjoying the light show and didn't even need an umbrella.

Just returned from Yellowstone on Tuesday afternoon. I am badly jet lagged right now and exhausted to bits! People have been telling us about the lightning and thunder. We have noticed that we didn't generate much power on our solar panels once we left the islands. Am up to my ears in this and that right now. PLUS... What the heck! My brand new monitor is dead! Sheesh!

Kay- I've been following the Yellowstone trip on your blog. Jon is a right on person for sure. It sure appears cold, anything under 70 degrees is freezing for me. And yea, have to post something new here.
