I came across Central Pacific College on a back street in Waikiki. This is all new to me, too, as in, what the heck is that?
ESL ..... English Language School. I had to look that up.

Just curious...is it the ONLY ESL school in Waikiki? That would make for an easy claim, no? :)
ESL = ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

ESL stands for English as a Second Language. Oh nuts! Gigi beat me to it. I guess there's certainly a market for it here in Hawaii. They must have ESL classes at the High Schools (night classes)? But then again, with all the budget constraints, maybe no.

Kay- I wondered about the acronym.
Rowena- actually, all those people who write flawless English on the Internet .... how do they sound in person. The Internet should have accented text. Just rambling.
