What's wrong with having geishas in a parade?
.... Too many people want their picture taken with them and then the parade momentarily comes to a halt.
These mascots were stationed on both sides of the street.
Gulp.
Kids along the parade route trying their hand at taiko drumming. Early in the parade they were handing out candy too.

Kay- half way through the parade, I ran outta memory on the SD card, lol, so I had to 'delete' in order to shoot more pics. This is the parade that two mainland high schools weren't able to make it becuz the travel agent stole $600,000 of their money.
Oh my gosh! The travel agent? Sheesh!
Kay- it was a local business too. Wuz in the news last month.
