Junk Kind Weather Post

I walked down to the beach but it started to drizzle so I high tailed it back home. I don't like to get caught in rain if it's not absolutely necessary. On the other hand, the weather service said that this is not suppose to be so. The weather is suppose to be sunny today in my neighborhood so it might be premature to jump to the conclusion that the sky will be falling for the rest of the day. The sign in the photo above was on a surfboard which appears to be a promotional item given to the outdoor restaurant by Kona Brewing Co. Never drank the stuff. Don't drink alcohol nowadays period. You already knew that. However, what you might not be aware of, is that if too many people in the world drink too many drinks the night before, it pours in my neighborhood. There's definitely a correlation there.

gigi- rain or shine the Ala Wai still there every morning, so far.

Cloudia- ahoy. Did you ever get the note I sent you in a bottle.

Nate- indeed a nice day, after the earlier showers.

So how is the weather now? I've just about given up hope on spring getting here. Tomorrow it'll probably jump to 30°C and BAM! There go the young tomato plants wilting in the heat instead of acclimating like good little boys and girls. MotH agreed when I suggested that it could be the fault of Iceland's volcano-that-I-cannot-pronounce. Heh! And here people worry about second-hand smoke.

Rowena- nah, probably not the fault of the volcano in Iceland because folks in the upper US states have had prolonged cold weather too. Over here, there was barely any spring this year, real nice weather, I mean.

I agree with Gigi. Wonderful photo. I NEVER believe the weather service. I just can't rely on it because the weather changes all the time in different parts of the island. Micro-climates? I think somebody called it that.
