Cloudia- I guess you went watch the parade too. I was across the street from McDonald's.
You guys always get great days for a parade. I checked the weather forecast for this weekend....looks like we be a-chitter and a-chatter in the snow. The things I do to entertain all da italophiles out there...
Btw, do you know if your McDonald's has automatic, motion-controlled trash bins? And large, flat panel screen tvs in the dining room? Just wondering...
Rowena- actually the weather was overcast, which is better for parades, both for watching on the sidewalk or marching on the asphalt. I dunno whether McDonalds get automatic-trash bins. I do know that they gross more than high class restaurants.
This looks like a lot of fun.
Kay- it was more like a variety show, in a nice way. There really isn't a theme to the parade as there are with others. Diversity, maybe. If you weren't aware that it was MLk day, you wouldn't be able to figure what the parade was about.
