The annoying thing with non defrost compacts is that as soon as a ¼-inch thick layer of ice forms, it seems like a few days later, the ice has grown to a thick glacier.RONWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10685861839372504999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1861755739015456730.post-52305419437940064482009-12-02T20:45:47.789-10:002009-12-02T20:45:47.789-10:00I need a compact refrigerator. Had a 10 cubic foot frost-free refrigerator for nearly 20 years. But a few years ago when I was home on leave it died so got one of those small ones to keep my beer cold when I was visiting, though not frost-free. A pain in the oole to manually defrost. So now need to get the bigger one again. Found only two possibilities at Sears. Gotta be frost-free! Don't have to worry about getting rid of the old one - long gone. And the small one is still good and my daughter wants to use it as a "drink" refrigerator in the main house.OkiHwnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14126196402369732295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1861755739015456730.post-73292636470614582532009-12-02T07:16:31.074-10:002009-12-02T07:16:31.074-10:00Nate- it'll take a while to answer that questi...Nate- it'll take a while to answer that question. Probably a number of things. Home Depot supposedly provides free delivery on refrigs but I wouldn't buy off-brands, and they even take away the old refrig for a fee. If it's only moving the refrig to the sidewalk for bulky item pickup, then they'll do that for free. I've been thinking about a new refrig, myself, but so much hassle setting asides a free day for the delivery.RONWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10685861839372504999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1861755739015456730.post-63859705843036622142009-12-01T22:01:19.796-10:002009-12-01T22:01:19.796-10:00What you thinking of getting yourselves for Xmas? ...What you thinking of getting yourselves for Xmas?
