Shivering

i hate this cold weather.  That said, I should start to feel better (about everything) in about a few minutes counting, and albeit the temperature in our fair Honolulu is currently in the frigid low 70s, and people on the mainland might be arguably puzzled about my adversion to what constitutes the threshold of "cold" weather.  Alrighty....alrighty, something....Happy 2005 2006 for starters.  Indeed it's the last week transitioning into the brand new year to say "happy new year" without sounding dated.  People in colder climates would collapse from a heat stroke if the thermometer in their own neighborhoods soared into the 70s.  Without further ado, da grim prognosis is that I'm in the midst of a cold stroke.  I'm not the only one here who feels like the islands is in cold storage.  You absolutely just have to be in, or from Hawaii, yourself, to understand making commotion over the discomfort of freezing your tropical ass off.  All in all, and if I may say so myself, I'll pull through the weather anomaly however erratic my thought process may be obviously effected by frost bite.  I'm tough.

Hi....I inadvertently erased (f**k) 4 posts. I was able to manually reinsert the posts because I had an active window still open of HOTEL WAIKIKI from which I could copy and paste....unfortunately all comments attached to the entries will remain forever in cyberspace land, where ever that is.

RONW

Tough huh? Say Ron, we're having a heat wave here this week-end...it's almost 40 degrees! 70 is cold? Sheesh! at 75 I start to sweat and complain about the heat! Bless your baby heart, you just don't know what cold is, do you? Oh, well. Just blame it on my Swedish heritage! That, and it's all in what you're used to!

Aloha (ha)!
I do understand your reluctance to pitch a fit at 70 :) Your 70 degrees cold is shared here in NSW where I've spend 5 years trying to get climatized from 23 years in Honolulu! I was expecting HOT summers & 85 is the highest it's ever been in 5 YEARS! & Where I'm at is the "BEST WEATHER IN AUSTRALIA"!! I'd encourage you to keep up your bellyachin'...it warms us less so fortunate!;)
